These are the hardest types of pages to author because although there seems to be a lot to tell, but when it comes time to type, a curious thing happens … I am speechless.
(And for those that know me in the real world, you know this is hard to come by!)
So to make this all official-like, below is my professional bio. And the personal side, well, I intend for this to unfold through my posts!
Professional Bio:
Ami D’Amelio is a versatile, experienced and spirited freelance marketing and sales consultant in the Greater Manchester area, and is available for remote or on-site, project-based or long-term arrangements. Ami recently accepted the part-time, off-site Program Manager position with the Granite State Ambassadors. Through this position, she will be organizing training, managing special events, developing social media and blog communications, and coordinating tours throughout the state of NH.
She earned her BA in English from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Ami is very engaged in the non-profit sector, serving on several boards of directors, including Council on Fundraising (CONFR), Manchester Rotary Club, and Friends of CHaD. She is a Class of 2007 graduate of Leadership Greater Manchester, a Class of 2010 graduate of Leadership Greater Nashua, and actively supports the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce through the Ambassador and Annual Golf Classic Committees.
Ami was also selected as one of the 40 Under Forty in 2008 by the New Hampshire Union Leader.
She lives in Auburn, NH with her husband, Brian, her two daughters and son, and a menagerie of animals, which currently includes two cats and four dogs. In her ‘spare’ time, Ami volunteers for her daughters’ respective Girl Scout troops and supports their many athletic and academic endeavors.
